Earl Rivers :

Dr. Earl Rivers, Director of Music at Knox since 1974, is also the Director of Choral Studies and Head of the Division of Ensembles and Conducting at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. From 1988-2008 he was Music Director and Conductor of the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati, a professional chamber choir. He has taught conducting, master classes, and lectured at The Juilliard School and Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Internationally, he has guest conducted and lectured in Seoul, South Korea, the Taipei International Choral Festival in Taiwan, and most recently at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in Chengdu, China. In the USA he has led festival choirs in Carnegie Hall and more than 35 years of programs for conventions of the American Choral Directors Association.

Peter Tiboris de Midam International:

Greek American conductor, music director, and producer Peter Tiboris has enjoyed a worldwide career for more than forty years of which the past thirty have been in New York City as founder and artistic director of MidAmerica Productions, which has produced concerts in Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall (now called David Geffen Hall), and Alice Tully Hall in New York; the Festival of the Aegean in Syros, Greece; performances series in Vienna, Austria, and Florence, Italy; and concerts throughout Europe and the U.S. Maestro Tiboris is also the founder of the Manhattan Philharmonic, Elysium Recordings, and most recently, MidAm International. Maestro Tiboris has conducted nearly every major choral work as well as countless symphonic works, selected operas, and ballet.

 

Midam International Description:

In 2012, MidAm International, Inc. was formed to support MidAmerica’s growing presence in Europe. Since then, concerts have taken place in Vienna, Florence, and Syros, with concerts slated in 2019 for Paris, Vienna, Salzburg, Lisbon, Porto, Florence, Verona, Venice, Prague, Berlin, and Syros.
